Graveside services for Nora McGee Thornton, 69, of Ralls will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 3, 2004 at the Ralls Cemetery with Terry Ellison officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
She died Thursday, July 1, 2004 at the Ralls Nursing Home. She was born April 29, 1935 in Mercedes, Texas to Duke and Dionicia Reyes McGee. She married Jimmie Thornton on February 12, 1953 in Ralls, Texas. He died on February 7, 1985. She was a homemaker and moved to Ralls in 1952 from Donna.
Survivors include; a stepson; Charles Thornton of Ralls, three brothers; Pete Hooks of Dumas, Fred Hooks, Jr. of Carrolton, Hilberto Hooks of Hale Center, two sisters; Lilia Sepeda of Plainview and Gloria Pena of Alamo, three step grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.
