Jeremiah Hendricks was born on Jan 4, 1789 at Wilkes County, Georgia. He was a son of Hillary Hendricks and Elizabeth Whitehead Hendricks. He served the Republic of Texas in the capacity of Citizen and farmer. Jeremiah married Celia Williford in Wilkes County, Georgia on Dec. 22, 1808. They are found on page 194 of the "Citizens of The Republic of Texas".  This list his Father as Hillary Hendricks and his Mother as Elizabeth Whitehead Hendricks and residence of Mount Pleasant, Titus Co., Texas. Jeremiah is with his wife Celia Williford Hendricks.  Jeremiah and Celia Hendricks had children Lindsay, Nelson, John, Martha, Sterling Brown, Elizabeth, and Sarah Ann. Sarah Ann married Elisha H. Gambell.
