LOCAL NOTES:
Mr. W.L. CHATHAM has just completed the erection of an oil house 20X 30 feet, for the Gulf Refining Company on the site near the Waters PIERCE oil house.
The carpenter work on the Chas. MOORE large three story house near the passenger depot, was completed today and is ready for occupancy.
Mr. A.V. DULLYE has sold his 50 acre pasture that is situated just outside of the city limits, which was advertised in The Herald, to Mr. MCSTOPHEY, considerations private.
Mrs. J.T. MCQUILLAN has named her new restaurant “The Palm”.
Friday night at the skating rink prizes were given to the couple who could skate ten times around the rink in the shortest length of time. Miss Birdie YOUNGKIN and Mr. Lee THRIFT captured the prizes.
