Graveside services for Doyle Elmer Cagle, 84, of Afton were held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 16, 1990 in the Afton Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Adcock, pastor of the Calvary Temple Assembly of God, officiating.

Burial was under direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.

He died at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 1990 in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He had lived in Dickens County since 1929. He married Selma Raspberry Dec. 24, 1929, in Dickens. He was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Dwight of Afton; and a sister, Geneva Cagle of Lubbock.
