AFTON (Special) — Services for Elvis Perryman, 67, of Afton will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Afton Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Henderson, pastor of Bethel Baptist Church in Spur, officiating.
Burial will be in Afton Cemetery under direction of Seigler Funeral Home of Matador.
Perryman died Tuesday, July 22, 1997, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 28, 1929, in Dickens County. He was a member of the Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge.
He was a retired farmer and trucker.
Survivors include three sons, Jim of Afton, Bill of Dallas and Lonnie of Hilea, Fla.; two brothers, Delbert of Roaring Springs and Dean of Beaumont; a sister, Dortha Whitefield of Matador; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
