Services Held for John W. Brasher
Funeral services were held for John Wilburn Brasher Tuesday, February 28 at the Steel Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Wayne Grizzle of Crosbyton and Rev. H.L. Burnham of Spur officiated the services.Mr. Brasher was born in Sterrett, Alabama, Aug 20, 1871. He married Miss Cornelius Wright in Van Zandt County, Texas; she died December 18, 1924, also 1 son, Artice E. Brasher of Lubbock who died Dec. 26, 1945.
Pallbearers were six grandsons, Wilburn Brasher, and Doyle Akin of Lubbock; Eldon Akin of Tahoka; Jay Webb of Brownfield and J.C. Jones of Crosbyton.
Chandler Funeral Home had charge of all arrangements. Interment was in the Steele Hill Cemetery.
