Herman Adams
U.S.Flag DICKENS — Graveside services for Herman L. Adams, 64, of Lubbock will be at 3 p.m. Monday in the Dickens Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.

He died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002.

He was born Aug. 31, 1937, in Alba and moved to Lubbock in 1965 from Littlefield. He married Doris Putman on Sept. 16, 1960 in Littlefield. He attended schools in Hamlin, Paducah and Littlefield and served in the Army in 1956-58. He was a Baptist and worked as the maintenance supervisor for White´s Property for 30 years until retiring.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Dora of Lubbock; a son, Steve of Lubbock; four brothers, John Cliffton of Olton, Wiley of Littlefield and John and Quincy, both of Lubbock; two sisters, Ruth Stueart and Mary Lynn Buck, both of Lubbock; and five grandchildren.

The family suggest memorials to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, 3706 20th St., Lubbock, TX 79410 or the Children´s Miracle Network, c/o University Medical Center, 602 Indiana Ave., Lubbock, TX 79415.
