Funeral services for Mrs. Clara L. Carroll were held Sunday at the Dickens Baptist Church, Rev. Victor Crabtree officiating. She had been a resident of Dickens since 1927.She is survived by two sons, G.A. Carroll and W.A. Carroll and one daughter, Mrs. S.H. Collins, all of Dickens.
Five grandchildren and eight grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren also survive.
Mrs. Carroll was a member of the Baptist Church. She was born in Dec. 1882 and died Nov. 28. Interment was in Dickens Cemetery.
Pallbearers included P.D. Conner, H.H. Holly, Hugh Swaringen, Charles McKnight, Guy Felmy and Fay Slough.
