Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Chumbley Koonsman, 61, were held Tuesday morning at the Dickens Baptist church at 10 a.m. Rev. Victor Crabtee, Dumont officiating.She died about 4 a.m. May 24. She had been a resident of Dickens County for 45 years.
She is survived by her husband, Sam Koonsman, and four children, Mrs. M.C. Harkey, Abilene; Mrs. Herman Van Pelt, Houston; Mrs. George W. Stephens, Dallas; and Mrs. D.K. Garner, Fort Worth, three brothers: Elbert Chumbley, Clovis, NM; Miles Chumbley, Phoenix, AZ; and one sister, Mrs. Carl B. Earnest, Reno, NV. Ten grandchildren also survive.
Mrs. Koonsman was a member of the Dickens chapter of the Eastern Star.
