U.S.Flag   Graveside services for Omar Maurice Paschall, 73, of Dickens were at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2000, at the Dickens Cemetery, Dickens, Texas with the Rev. John Truitt officiating.

Burial was under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.

Paschall died Thursday, July 13, 2000, at Crosbyton hospital.

He was born Nov. 5, 1926, in Cross Plains, Texas. He was a World War II veteran in the U.S. Air Force. He married Alma Laster on May 29, 1953, in Abilene. He lived most of his life in Dickens County. He was a heavy equipment operator throughout the area for many years. He was a member of the Dickens Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Alma Paschall of Dickens; a son, Jimmy Paschall of Dickens; one brother, Harrell Paschall of Roswell, New Mexico; and one grandson, Chris Paschall of Houston.
