Funeral services for Williams Clyde Pernell, 76, were held Wednesday, November 17 at 3 p.m. in the East Side Church of Christ, Dickens
Billy McBride, Post minister, officiated.
Mr. Pernell died in Dickens on November 15. He was a farmer. He came to Dickens Clunty early in his life. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucille Pernell, Dickens; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Boswell, Mineral Wells; a son, Clyde Pernell, Jr., Vega; a brother, Ray Pernell, Van Horn and a sister, Mrs. Ruby Edwards, Dickens; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Pallbearers included Harold Goodwin, Charley Gage, Monroe Gage, Wright Martin, Nickey Pernell and Kenneth Bostick.
Burial was in Dickens Cemetery.
