SPUR (Special) — Services for Charles Alton "Chubby" White, 70, of Dickens will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Spur Church of Christ. Officiating will be Vernon Williams, a Church of Christ minister, and assisting will be Randy Mashburn, minister of Spur Church of Christ.Burial will be in Dickens Cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home.
White died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at a residence in Lubbock. Justice of the Peace Wayne LeCroy ruled death as natural causes.
He was born in Breckenridge but lived in Dickens County most of his life. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include four brothers, Clyde of Dickens, Kenneth of Stockton, Calif., Tommy of Kosse and Virgil of Arlington, and a sister, Annie Mae Payne of Lubbock.
