

Funeral services for W. R. (Tab) Williams are scheduled for Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. in the Dickens Baptist Church, Rev. R. J. Roberts and Rev. Victor Crabtree officiating.
Williams died Wednesday morning in the Matador Clinic; he had been hospitalized there a little over one week. He had suffered a heart attack.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Keaton, Lubbock and Mrs. Francell Young, also of Lubbock.
A resident of Dickens County for 35 years, Williams had spent the past nine years in Lubbock before he became ill. He was born Dec. 9, 1904. He had been a farmer.
Other survivors include his mother, Mrs. E. L. Williams, Dickens; five brothers, H. V., Dickens; Austin, Mississippi; Clarence, Linden, Texas; Joe Riverbank, CA; and Louis, Downey, CA; four sisters, Mrs. Nell Czaratata, Downey, CA; Mrs. Winnie Ealker, Downey, CA; Mrs. Onie Colenburg, Medesto, CA; Mrs. Jerry Smith, Ashland, NE and three grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Dickens Cemetery. Williams was a member of the Baptist Church.
