In Remembrance of

L. C. Winkler

Funeral rites for L.C. Winkler of Dickens were conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church in Dickens. The Rev. C.L. Atkinson, pastor officiated.

Interment was made in Dickens Cemetery.

Mr. Winkler, 52, was claimed by death at 2:35 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, in Methodist Hospital. Lubbock, following a prolonged illness.

The Spur native was married July 1, 1949 in Spur to Mary Lou Thompson. The couple moved to Dickens from Kalgary.

A farmer Mr. Winkler was a member of the First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Larry and Terry, both of Muleshoe; a daughter, Jerryl Lynn of Muleshoe; his brothers, Roy D. Winkler of Lubbock and Boney Winkler of Kalgary; a sister, Leanora Jones of Kalgary; and one grandchild.
