Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda Wells Wyatt, 95, were held at 2:30 p.m. at the East Side Church of Christ, Dickens. Dell Young, Spur, officiated.

Mrs. Wyatt died at her home in Dickens on March 18 following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Wyatt came to Dickens County in 1906 and resided in the Red Mud community. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Christine Hune, Lubbock; Mrs. C.F. Holloway, Spur; Miss Mary Wyatt, Dickens and Mrs. Clay Edwards, Afton; five sons, Jake Wyatt, Brownwood; Bill and John Wyatt, both of Spur; Jim Wyatt, Girard; Frank Wyatt, Vernon; one sister, Mrs. C.S. Leatherman, Amarillo; 30 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren.

Pallbearers included Floyd Faubus, James Faubus, Bill Vickrey, Frank Murphy, George Austin and Fay Slough.

Interment was in Dickens Cemetery.
