Services for Stella Mae Puckett, 94, of Bakersfield, California were Wednesday, December 31, 1997 at the Campbell Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Larry Burton of First United Methodist Church of Spur officiated. Burial was in the Espuela Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.

Mrs. Puckett died December 23, in Bakersfield, California.

Stella was born March 2, 1903 in Knox County, Texas. Prior to her retirement she was a meat cutter for several stores. She was a 61 year resident of Kent County, living in Lake Isabella for a number of years.

Survivors include one son, Jimmy Puckett and wife, Jenny, Caliente, California; three sisters, Estha Smith, Reno, Nevada; Zora McDonald, Lake Isabella, California; Tommie Walker, Scottsdale, Arizona; ten grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

Stella was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Puckett, four children, Bill Puckett, Doris Forsam, Mary Jo Puckett, and Albert Puckett, Jr; two sisters, Birdie Tramell and Bertha Wyatt, and four brothers, Bill, Jim, John, and Charlie Holloway.
