Haynes High School
Haynes High School bears the name of Professor H.T. Haynes. After integration, Haynes High School was closed. Novelette Daizolua Kone Cook was on of the principles of the school and the granddaughter of Professor Haynes.

HAYNES SCHOOL TO GRADUATE 8
Haynes Colored School will graduate eight seniors Friday, May 29, according to school principal G.W. Kerr.Baccalaureate services will be Sunday in the lake Side Baptist Church beginning at 8 p.m.
Rev. A.L. Davis, pastor of St. Luke Baptist Church, Lubbock will be the principal speaker.
Commencement exercises are set for Friday, May 29 in the school auditorium at 8:15 p.m. Professor Beasley Young Resse, Waco will be the commencement speaker.
Candidates for diplomas include Hattie Lee Nicholson, Cecil Louis Burrell, Quince Oliver Griggs, Jr., Lloyd Donald Nicholson, Floyd Donald Nicholson, Irene Mae Patterson, Albert James Patterson, Lehman Elijah Campbell.
