U.S.Flag   Services for Richard Adcock, 54, of Spur were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2002 at First Baptist Church in Spur with the Rev. Tommy Henderson officiating assisted by Rev. Renay Rice. Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.

He died Saturday, June 29, 2002 in Wichita Falls.

Mr. Adcock was born May 20, 1948, in Monahans to Rawleigh and Mary Pearson Adcock. He graduated from Patton Springs High School in 1966. He was a Vietnam Veteran with the U.S. Army. He was an electrician and a Baptist.

Survivors include one son, James Brandon of Fort Worth; one daughter, Richelle Thompson of Pottsville, Ark.; four brothers, Michael of Lubbock, Terry of Spur, Jerry of Howe and Kevin of Dickens; five sisters, Marilyn Taylor and Sandra Tagle, both of Spur, Donna Powell of Big Spring, Cindy Atkinson of Quitman and Laurie Garcia of Girard; and three grandchildren.
