Obituary

Funeral services for Ethel Lee Alexander were conducted Monday, January 25 at the Assembly of God Church in Spur. Bro. Vernon Haor and Bro. J.F. Eads of Stephenville officiated.

Mrs. Alexander was born April 30, 1893 at Corynell County, TX. She died Jan. 23, 1954. She was married to Cecil Alexander on Sept. 16, 1919 and they had lived in Dickens County for 23 years. She was converted in 1920 and had been a member of the Assembly of God church since then.

She leaves to survive her besides her husband, two sons: Flavious of Spur and Lonnie of CA; one daughter, Virgie Franklin of CA; her mother, Janie Fussell of Rising Star, Earl of Taft and Edgar of Midland; and four grandchildren.

Interment was in the Spur Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Frank Hale, H.A. Marcy, Raymond Cornelius, Russell Williams, S.C. Reynolds and Loyd Hindman.
