Graveside services for John Caballero, 52, of Spur, Texas were held at 10 a.m.January 28, 2003 at Spur Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Pesina officiating. Burial was under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.He died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003 in Crosbyton.
Mr. Caballero was born February 28, 1950, in Refugio to Fancisco Cabellero and Elvira Garza. He married Carolyn Pesina in 1970. He lived in Spur for 30 years.
Mr. Caballero is survived by his parents, his wife of Spur; one son, John Jr. of Spur; three daughters, Corrina C. Baeza and Stella Caballero, both of Spur, and Elvira Caballero of Abilene; three brothers, Manuel and Frank, both of Sweetwater, and Raymond of Hutto; three sisters, Vera White of Lubbock, Adel Soto of Sweetwater and Lupe Kidd of Roscoe; three stepbrothers, Martin Caballero and Eddie Caballero, both of Sweetwater, and Francis Velegas of Roscoe; a stepsister, Patsy Caballero of Dallas; and eight grandchildren.

Carolina Caballero 54, of Spur died December 4, 2005 at her home in Spur. Services were held Wednesday December 7, 2005 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Paul Kariakatt officiating. Rosary was said Tuesday December 6, 2005 in Campbell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Spur Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.Mrs. Caballero was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Spur. She married her late husband May 4, 1970 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Spur.
Mrs. Caballero is survived by one son John Caballero Jr., of Spur, and three daughters Corrina Caballero, Stella Caballero, and Elvira Reyes. Mrs. Caballero is also survived by four brothers and four sisters and eight grandchildren.
Mrs. Caballero is preceded in death by her husband John and two brothers.
