Carrollton — Services for Josie LaFern Carlisle, 58, of Carrollton were held at 9:30 a.m. December 11th at Rhoton Weiland-Merritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Austin Steadman, pastor of Baptist Church in Lewisville, officiating.Burial was in the Spur Cemetery.
Mrs. Carlisle died at 2:50 a.m. December 9th at Presbyterian Hospital, in Dallas after a lengthy illness.
She had been employed as a dietarian at Presbyterian Hospital, receiving her ten year pin just prior to her death.
Mrs. Carlisle was a former Spur resident, having graduated from school there in 1938.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Cummings of Farmers Branch; her mother, Loraine Hazelwood of Spur; and three grandsons.
