
Funeral services for "B" (Beatrice) Kidd, 64, were held Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Spur, Rev. Norris Taylor, pastor, officiating.Born in Stonewall County in 1910, Mr. Kidd died in the Crosbyton Hospital Feb. 6. He was a retired school custodian. He had been a resident of Dickens County since 1921. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nina Kidd, Spur; one son, Don Kidd, Izoro, a daughter, Mrs. Judy Stark, Post; two brothers, Marion Kidd, Portales, NM; and C.H. Kidd, Sutherlin, Oregon; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers included Levi Meadors, Hester Arnold, Raymond Bailey, Travis Hoover, Marion Jordan, Lawrence Fitzgerald, Willard Williams and Elmer Wright.
Burial was in Spur Cemetery.

Funeral services were held Friday at 3 p.m. in Campbell Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Nina Belle Kidd, 66. Rev. Norris Taylor, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiated.Mrs. Kidd died August 19 in Stars Mill, Georgia. The former Nina Belle McCormick married Beatrice Kidd in 1935 in Dickens. She had lived most of her live in Dickens County. Mr. Kidd died in 1975. She was a member of Steele Hill Church of Christ.
She is survived by a son, Don Kidd of Stars Mill, Ga.; a daughter, Judy Stark, Tulia; two brothers, Walter McCormick, Dickens and Joe McCormick, Keller; a sister, Mrs. Virgil Hawley, Dickens; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers included Hester Arnold, Abb Smith, Edd Webb, Rex Carlisle, Louis Arnold and Billy T. Wyatt.
Burial was in Spur Cemetery.
