Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church for Nora Sarah King, 72. Rev. Norris Taylor officiated.Mrs. King died April 25 in a Hobbs, NM hospital. A member of the Baptist Church, she had been a resident of Spur since 1937.
She is survived by 3 brothers, Virgil Sonnamaker, Haskell; Roy Sonnamaker, Tulia; and Frank Sonnamaker, Spur; one sister, Mrs. Alice Vivey, Fullerton, Ca.
Pallbearers included W.E. Sonnamaker, Charles Sonnamaker, Wayne Roberts, Wilburn Ball, Bud Britton and Ted Smith.Burial was in Spur Cemetery.
