Funeral services are scheduled at 4 p.m. today (Thursday, March 16) in the First Christian Church for Thomas Nelson Morgan, 81, with Rev. John Nay, pastor officiating.Mr. Morgan, a retired farmer, died at his home Tuesday, March 14. He had made his home in Spur since 1909. He was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth H. Morgan, Spur; one son, T. N. Morgan, III. Sacramento, CA; two step-daughters, Mrs. Ruth Kruse, Kingland; and Mrs. Verdie Moser, Colorado City; one brother, Urban Morgan, of Mesquite, and one sister Mrs. Hattie Denamore, of Ranger; six grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Spur Cemetery.
