Funeral services were held Tuesday at Campbell Funeral Home Chapel for Dixie Lee Speer, 41, of Girard. Robert Scott, Snyder, officiated.Mr. Speer had been a resident of Girard since childhood.
He was a member of the Church of Christ. He died August 29 in a Big Spring Hospital after being ill for a number of years.
He is survived by two aunts, Mrs. Tom Bailey, Girard and Nettie Wilson, Comanche; one uncle, Brayden Speer, Houston.
Interment was in Spur Cemetery.
