Edeth Thomson

Funeral services were held June 16 at 3 p.m. in Bethel Baptist Church for Mrs. Edeth M. Thomson, 87, who died June 14 in Kent County Rest Home, Jayton.

Rev. Virgil Smith, officiated; he was assisted by Rev. E.O. McElyea.

Mrs. Thomson was married in Spur in 1923 and came to the county in 1945. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Bob Thomson, Spur; one sister, Ada Mitchell, Spur; three grandchildren.

Pallbearers included Junior Sprayberry, C.A. Shipman, Alvis Bilberry, Bernice Bilberry, Virgil Wilson and Robert Hahn.

Interment was in Spur Cemetery.

Adopted one son and named him Robert Milo Thomson Jr.
