Funeral services were held Dec. 30 in the First Baptist Church for Mrs. Willie Ruth Walden, 60, Rev Norris Taylor officiated.Mrs. Walden died Dec. 29. She lived in Dickens County from 1922 to 1956 and had resided in Lubbock since. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Burial was in Spur Cemetery.
She is survived by her father, Walter G. Causey, Lubbock; one son, Alvin Causey, Illinois; three step-sons and one step-daughter; three brothers, Rev. Henry Causey, Temple, Lawrence Causey USAF, Irann; Ralph Causey, Lawton, OK; three grandchildren.

From the records of Lillian Grace NaySPUR (Special) - Services for Mrs. Willie Ruth Walden, 60, are set for 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Norris Tayor, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Spur Cemetery, under direction of Campbell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Walden, a resident of 2215 5th St. in Lubbock since 1956, died about 5 a.m. Friday in St. Mary of the Plains in Lubbock following surgery.
A native of Omaha, she had resided in Dickens County from 1922 until 1956 when she moved to Lubbock. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Alvin Causey of Ilinois; three stepsons and a stepdaughter; her father, Walter G. Causey of Lubbock; three brothers, the Rev. Henry Causey of Temple, Lawrence Causey, stationed in Iran with the U.S. Air Force and Ralph Causey of Lawton, OK and three grandchildren.
