Mrs. Lucy L. Walker passed away Friday, January 13th, 1933, at the family home six miles northeast of Spur. Acute Coriac was given as the cause of death by the attending physician. Mrs. Walker was born October 16, 1974, being 58 years, 2 months and 17 days of age when the death angel called.

Funeral services were held at the Spur Cemetery Saturday afternoon with the Rev. F.G. Rodgers, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Spur, officiating. Webber Williams of the Campbell Funeral Parlor directed the funeral arrangements

The husband and six children survive to mourn their great loss. Five of the children reside here and one at Sudan, Texas. All were present for the funeral.
