Grandma Walker died of measles last Sunday following an attack. Grandma was 90 years of age and had been living with her children here east of Spur a number of years. In the beginning the epidemic of measles throughout the country, it is said that Grandma stated on several occasions that if she were to take the measles at this late time in her life, that the disease would prove fatal to her.
