Funeral services were held Saturday in Campbell's Funeral Home chapel for Thomas Wheeler Walker, 79. Rev. Howard Marcom, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiated.

Mr. Walker, a retried farmer, died Dec. 5 in the Crosbyton Rest Home. A member of the Methodist Church, he had been a resident of Dickens County since 1935. He had been in the rest home for the past three years.

Survivors include one son, Bill Walker, Seminole; three daughters, Mrs. Elmer Maben, Spur and Mrs. Melvin Boase and Mrs. Elmo Owens, both of Abilene; one step brother and two step sisters. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren.

Interment was in Spur Cemetery.
