Services for Undie William (U.W.) Wallace, 87, were held June 5, 1992 at 2 p.m. at graveside in the Spur Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Melvin Owens, pastor of the Temple Baptist Church, Spur, officiated.

Mr. Wallace died about 1:50 a.m. on June 4 in the Crosbyton Clinic Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born September 18, 1904 in Indian Territory, OK. He had resided in Spur since 1959 where he was a welder. He married Stella Lorene McMurray on September 14, 1941 in Big Spring. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lorene Wallace of Spur; one son, Emmett Wallace of Odessa and three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
