Negro woman dropped dead in Spur last Wednesday
Lettie, the negro wash-woman and cook at the W.F. Godfrey home, dropped dead Wednesday, the cause being attributed to heart disease. The woman had been doing work around the place, apparently in good health and spirits up to the time of her death.©The Texas Spur,Oct. 22, 1920
