Beulah Watters, age 91, of Stamford, died Friday in a local hospital. services were Sunday, July 13, at 1:30 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Stamford with graveside services at 3:30 p.m. in Spur Cemetery, with Rev. Jack Riddlehoover officiating. Burial was under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home.Mrs. Watters was born April 18, 1906, in Cross Cut, Texas. She married Clarence Watters December 24, 1923, in Cross Plains, Texas. Mr. Watters preceded her in death February 18, 1987.
Mrs. Watters moved to Stamford in 1974 from Spur. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist church.
Survivors includes one daughter and son-in-law, Bobbie and Bill Glenn of Stamford, Texas; one sister, Pat Trude of Visalia, CA; four grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
