Jearl Watts

Funeral services for Jearl E. Watts, 57, were held Wednesday at 3:30 o.m. in the First Baptist Church, Spur with Rev. Norris Taylor, pastor, officiating. Rev. C.A. Atkinson, Dickens, assisted.

Mr. Watts, an auto mechanic, died July 30. He moved to Spur in 1935 from Paducah. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Baptist Church. His wife died in 1972.

Survivors include three brothers, A.B. Watts, Palestine; A.T. Watts, Farwell, and Loyd Watts, Plainview, and several nieces and nephews.

Burial was in Spur Cemetery.
