Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Spur, for Reece Butler Webster, Dock Love officiating.

Webster was born in GA Feb. 1, 1870 and in 1937 came to Crosby County to make his home at Kalgary.

He was married to Belle Lewis in Limestone Co., TX. At the time of his death, Webster was residing in Georgia.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, George of Kent County and Alva of Spur; 2 daughters: Ella Newsom, O'Donnell; Mozell Cathey of Wyoming.

Interment was in Spur Cemetery under direction of Chandler Funeral Home.
