Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Rachael Wellborn, 84, were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Bethel Baptist Church. Rev. Norris Taylor, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiated.

Mrs. Wellborn died January 22, 1978 in the Crosbyton Hospital. She had been a resident of Spur since 1930, coming here from Daughtery. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Scott, Spur and Mrs. Gracie King, Munday; three step daughters, Mrs. Chester Burton, Waco; Mrs. Timmie McCormick, Big Spring; Mrs. James Thomason, Brownfield; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Interment was in Spur Cemetery.
