Graveside services for Cassidy D'Lea Whitaker, infant daughter of Mina and Bobby Whitaker, Spur, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 28.

The 23 day old infant died March 27 in Lubbock General Hospital. She was born March 4, 1985 in Lubbock.

Ted Kingery, minister of the Church of Christ, Silverton, officiated and was assisted by Rev. George Price, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Spur.

Surviving along with the parents are two brothers, Damin and Justin Whitaker, both of the home; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Beeson, Spur; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Whitaker, Matador; maternal great grandmothers, Mrs. Embry Hines and Mrs.E. Beeson, both of Bridgeport; paternal great grandmother, Lucille Whitaker, Matador; paternal great grandfather, Howard Thompson, Henrietta.

Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
