Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Spur Church of Christ for Mrs. Elsie Marie Williams, 52.C.V. Allen officiated, assisted by Arnold Banks, minister of the Hill Street Church of Christ.

Mrs. Williams died June 13 in Brownwood where she and her family were spending a few days.

Born in Stephenville in 1913, she came to Dickens Co. in 1939. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Spur Hugh School Principal, Robert Williams, two sons, Mac and Jim both of Spur and two daughters, Mrs. Rita Parker, Lubbock and Mrs. Anna Bob Weaver, Las Cruces, NM; and one brother, Elmo McMahan, Ft. Worth; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.B. McMahan, Stephenville, one sister, Mrs. Carl Spruill, Arlington and three grandchildren.

Burial was in the Spur cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home.
