Willie Williams

Funeral services for Willie Williams, 91, of Spur were at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 31, 1994 in the Highway Church of Christ. Officiating were his three sons, Charles, Robert and T.J. Williams.

Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home.

Mr. Williams died at 8 a.m., Sunday, May 29, 1994 in the Spur Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. He was born in Travis County, but live most of his life in Dickens County.

He married Bell Meador on November 15, 1927. Mr. Williams was a farmer until his retirement in 1980. He served as an elder in the Church of Christ for about 32 years. He also served on the school boards for Spring Creek and McAdoo.

He is survived by wife, Mrs. Belle Williams, Spur; three sons, Charles, Richard and T.J. Williams; one sister, Ella Williams, Lubbock, eight grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
