Services Held For Dudly G. Wooten Funeral services for Dudly G. Wooten were held October 29 at 3 p.m. in the Methodist Church.

Wooten was born August 8, 1914, in McAdoo. His early school days were spent in McAdoo, but he graduated from Spur High School. He died October 28 at his home in Lubbock.

Dr. Travis White, minister of the First Christian Church in Lubbock officiated assisted by Bro. Leonard Dennis, pastor of Church of Christ in McAdoo, and Rev Cal Wright, pastor of Methodist Church of Spur.

Pallbearers were Jack Helms, R.M. Harp, Ferrill Albin, Randall Carpenter, Odie Hood, Donald Wooten, Burford Cooper, and O.H. Zuber. Honorary Pallbearers were Basil Reynolds, R.L. Helms, John Grissom, Woodrow Rampey, Kern Allridge, Walter Browning, and Sam Bennett.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Era Belle Wooten; father, R.R. Wooten of McAdoo; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Hurst of Lubbock and Mrs. Mary Hunnisucker of McAdoo.
