William Lambert (Bill) Lemmon and Bess Tate Lemmon

This photo is of my maternal grandparents, William Lambert (Bill)
Lemmon and Bess Tate Lemmon. Bill was born on Oct. 1, 1894
in Trumbull, Texas (Ellis Co.) and Bess was born on July 11, 1900
in Trumbull, Texas. She also had a twin sister, Bead Tate. This
picture was probably made around May 16, 1920 when Bill and
Bess were married. They lived in Ferris, Texas when my mother,
Billie Jean Lemmon Little was growing up and Bill worked in the
grocery store. He was a butcher. Bill's parents were Jefferson Davis
Lemmon and Naomi Halbert Lemmon. They also lived in Ellis
County and in his older years, Jeff Lemmon worked as a school
janator at the Ferris school.
