Migration - and El Paso.

     Before migration - In 1581 the first explorers came to the Pass.
     1st migration - The first migration to this area was when Don Juan de Onate was a son of a noble Spanish family left several families here to start a town that would be vital to the later passengers on the Camino Real [King's Highway.] Onate went on north to Sante Fe.
     2nd migration - A northern rebellion in Sante Fe against the Spanish caused refugees to flee south into El Paso [Juarez]
     3nd migration - Started with drifting of Anglos from the eastern United States.
     4nd migration - Gold rush in California
     5nd migration - Transportation: Stagecoach and Railroads.
