I am looking for any and all information available on James Henry MONDAY (married in Erath County on 20 May 1897) to Mary Margaret GRYDER. They lived in or near Lingleville until Mary's (she went by "Maggie") death on 16 Aug 1920. She is buried in Bunyon Cemetery in Erath County along with some of her GRYDER relatives. Henry was a farmer. Their children were William Bryan, Robert Lee, Dean, Raymond, Vera Mildred, Daisy Pearl, Goldie Treasure, and Bessie Elizabeth. Some of them attended the Shelby School. They attended Lingleville Baptist Church. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi, I'm looking for the county where my grandparents were married. I think they eloped, but I'm not sure. They were married July 14, 1907. Their names are: Gilbert Jackson SMITH and Grace Alcenia ROBERTS. Gilbert was working on the Jake ROBERTS place near Star, in Mills Co., and that's how he met my grandmother. She was 15 and he was 24. Also, I am trying to locate the parents of Gilbert. They were: Jesse Nelms SMITH and Ruth Mae BRANDON. Jesse's parents were Sebe and Nancy Adeline EVERETT SMITH. Seeking info on the family of Geo. Barnett HARVEY b. 1819 KY; res. 1850 in Choctaw/Webster Co., MS son of John HARVEY and Catherine (Woolfolk/Woolfork?). G.B. HARVEY d. abt. 1894 in Brown Co., TX; he mar. Emily Allen MAHON b. 1833 AL (need name of her parents?); d. in Hamilton County, TX bur. in HARVEY plot with her son, Jasper Joel HARVEY. Some of their children res. in Clairette Community in Erath Co., TX and others in Stephenville, TX. Gave issue to several children. G.B. HARVEY moved his family to Rusk Co., TX in 1874 and later settled in Erath Co., TX. Some of his children were married by L.G.W. HARVEY, elder of the Primitive Baptist Church. What was L.G.W. HARVEY'S connecton to G.B. HARVEY? A brother? L.G.W. HARVEY was b. 1822 KY and was also listed on the tax lists along with G.B. HARVEY in DeSoto Co., MS earlier before moving into Choctaw/Webster counties, MS (1850). PALMER, Thomas born c 1915. Lived in Dublin, Erath Cty until 1960s. Believe died there at about that time. He was a nephew of Julia Virginia PALMER who married Neal Alexander McDOUGLE. Neal's son was Marion O. MCDOUGLE and his and Thomas's family visited in Dublin and Sweetwater, Tx. Hoping this will lead to info on Wylie and Peter Palmer

My name is John Jackson. My mother, Ruth Anne DAVIS, was orphaned at an early age, approximately seven years old. She was born in McLean, Gary county, TX, Aug. 25, 1913. I know little of my grandparents. All that I know of my grandfather is that his name was Allen Young DAVIS, and that he was born in Dublin, Erath county cir. 1883. He married Myrtle Ruth ALLEN, my grandmother, of Collingsworth County, TX. They had another child named Robert DAVIS. Are their any records from Dublin, or Erath County, that might be of assistance?
