Can anyone out there help me with this one? I'm trying to find out if the John LANEY ( b Oct 3 1825 & d Aug 17 1900) - buried Duffau Cemetery in Erath County was the stepfather of Samuel Henry WOLFE and Mary PARLEE WOLFE. Would like information on Wallace C. MCNEILL and especially his wife Emily Caroline CARR. Wallace C. MCNEILL is the son of William Wallace MCNEILL (b. 1819). Also information would be appreciated on John Douglas TALLANT and wife Henrietta Phoebe JARED. As well as James Lafayette TRIMBLE and wife Rebecca Jane (or June) MELTON. I have a photo of James and Becky TRIMBLE if anyone would like a copy.

Searching for Andrew RONALD born April 1856 Scotland. Arrived USA 1881. Married Mary ? 1886 or 1887 her date of birth Jan 1868. Two children Nellie born 12-1888 in Missouri. Married J. James TWEED born Texas in 1910. Alexander born Indian Terr. 7-18-1892 - July 1964. 1900 and 1910 Census showed them living in Erath Co. TX. The census had Justice Precinent #7 Thucker town.

I am looking for any information on Joseph S. EDWARDS, born 1802 in Kentucky, or any of his family. Children were: Thomas J. born Aug 2, 1834 in Erath County; Andrew J. born 1831 in Arkansas; Samuel, born 1833 in Erath county; Mary A. born Aug 2, 1834 in Erath County; Susanna, born 1838, probably in Erath county. I found her (?) in the1856-57 tax roles; Margaret J. born 1840; Jasper, born 1842 (J. Edwards appears in the 1856-57 tax roles); Micajah, born 1845 Virgina, born 1847

I am looking for anything on my G-Grandfather James Desire ROBERTS. I know this family was in Eastland Co., Erath Co. area. He married Rachel Thompson CRENSHAW. He was born in 1853 in AL and died in Desdemona TX in 1890. Their children where Joseph Desire ROBERTS m. Josie SHELTON. I do have a marriage certificate for Joe ROBERTS and Josie SHELTON. She lived in Paris TX. I am unable to find anything on James Desire ROBERTS. I know there must have been some relationships in TX for him to go there.

Does any one know where I can find info regarding the town of Chalk Mountain? My g-grandmother was born there in 1881 and I have never seen it mentioned anywhere. Her name was Pearl HERRING. Her father was John Neal HERRING and her mother was Sarah Adaline. I would appreciate any info available.

Jessie D. KNIGHT b July 25, 1877, TN married Mary Lillie MCADAMS October 23, 1898, Stephenville, Erath Co.,TX. Need information on children of the couple: Charlie, Emmett, Emily, Alfred, Annie Sybil,and Roy Aldon. Jessie's parents were Charles Daniel and Sally B. FOSTER KNIGHT.

James P. MCADAMS and Emily BULLARD are both buried at Mt. Pleasant Cem., Erath Co. James died Nov. 15, 1894, and Emily died Feb. 9, 1902. Need information on children and James and Emily's parents.

T. Russell HAMILTON b abt 1827 TN d 1879 Stephenville, Mary Jane MILLER d 1853, I don't know where. They had two daughters, Sarah Ellen b Jan 17, 1851 m John Henry F. SKIPPER, and Margaret b 1852, m Elijah KEALREY. Need parents, and dates.
