The Families of
Benjamin Louis Landrum and Cora Ella Bowers Taylor
Ben and Cora Taylor
lived for a time after their marriage in Holland, Bell Co., Texas; moved to
Blevins, Falls County, Texas where both parents were living and where they
built a house. Some of their children were born while they lived at Blevins.
Later they moved to Marlin, where their children were reared and went to
school. They lived in Marlin until their deaths and are buried in the Calvary
Cemetery-lsc (Biography on Families of Falls County)

Amanda
Frances E. (Ruble) Taylor was the mother of Benjamin Louis Landrum Taylor -
and the second wife of the Rev. Isaac Taylor. She was the daughter of Fielden
and Frances (Simmons) Ruble. |

the death of Amanda Ruble Taylor in 1875, the Rev. Isaac Taylor married
Canzadie (Cantrell) English. She became the step-mother of children of the
first marriage of Rev Taylor to Jane (English or England) and children from
the marriage of Rev Taylor to Amanda Ruble. He died in Kerrville, Kerr
County, Texas in 1894 and is buried in the Old Mountain View Cemetery at
Kerrville-lsc |
