Another note: Thomas Barron Texas Ranger & Blevins rancher died at Mastersville (now Bruceville Tx.) Texas Feb. 1874. Buried Cox Cemetery moved to Ft. Fisherin, Waco, Texas. He had 12 children by Susan Mattenly (this info may or may not be correct as I have documents stating the 1^st w/o THB was someone else….rg)….after the 1^st wife’s death T. H. B. married Mary Shelton in 1848 & had 8 children…and many are buried in the Blevins Cemetery
