A
picture of Pleasant Grove, Texas which was taken in 1947. As you can see, it
is little more than the crossroads of two sandy roads with Evan's Store being
out of the picture on the left and the Baptist Church being out of the
picture to the right. This picture is taken with a view from the west from
the road coming from Rosebud into Pleasant Grove. The car in the picture is
identified as belonging to Fountain A. and Faye (Fikes) Looney who are in the
picture (my Uncle and Aunt). |
