BEULAH SCHOOL

Beulah School was built around the late 1800's, on property deeded to the school district by the G. W. Hay family. The school district established was referred to as the Hoolia School District, which consisted of the Beulah, Morris and Shields schools in Falls County, Texas. The school served students in the area until sometime in the late 1930's or early 1940's, when the students began attending the Bruceville-Eddy consolidated school in nearby Eddy. By the mid 1940's, the building had been torn down.
