Fred Hardcastle
CHILTON--Fred W. Hardcastle, 73, of Chilton, a retired shop owner, died Tuesday afternoon in a Waco hospital.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church, the Rev. Marion Ford officiating. Burial will be in *Sego Cemetery.
Mr. Hardcastle was born in Chilton and attended schools in Chilton and *Sego. He was a member of First Baptist Church and married Willie Mae Pace in 1928.
Mr. Hardcastle owned and operated an automobile shop for many years, retiring in 1977.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Billy Hardcastle of 2305 Jane Drive; two sisters, Mrs. Lester Lane of Moody and Mrs. Ben Herrington of *Sego; two brothers, Frank Hardcastle of Temple and Jim Hardcastle of Robinson; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will be at 2305 Jane.

Fred W. Hardcastle, 73, of Route 1, Chilton, died at 3:05 P.M. Tuesday in a local hospital.
Funeral services: 2:30 P.M. Thursday, at First Baptist Church, Chilton, with Rev. Marion Ford officiating, burial in Cego Cemetery.
Survivors: wife, Mrs. Fred W. Hardcastle of Route 1, Chilton; one son, Billy Hardcastle of 2305 Jane Dr.; two sisters, Mrs. Lester Lane of Moody, Mrs. Ben Herrington of Cego; two brothers, Frank Hardcastle of Temple, Jim Hardcastle of Robinson; sister-in-law, Mrs. Bessie Lancaster of Temple; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
