OBITUARY
On the evening of the
22nd of December, 1916, the death angel visited the home of B. O. Herrington
and bore the spirit of his dear wife to the home prepared for her, and that she
had lived in a glorious anticipation to realize "some sweet day."
She is not death, but still lives in that
holy city "not made with hands."
She had been ill for some time, and her
death, though not unexpected, was a shock to her family and many friends.
The community has lost one of its most
lovable christian women and the church one of its leading members.
B. O. Herrington has lost a true and
faithful companion, and the children a devoted mother. She is survived by
her husband and two sons, viz: Irwin and Alfred.
Her remains were laid to rest in the Cego
cemetery, her pastor, Rev. W. L. Williamson, of Waco, conducting the obsequies.
A Friend.
